Hellooooo! Sorry I’ve been such a flake these days! This past week has been a whirlwind and I’m just now catching up on life! A few days out on the town and your body starts to hate you, I swear. I spent the weekend in Chicago with my best friend, Gabby (aka the brilliant person who named this blog), and our boyfriends! It had been a year since I’d seen her, so it was a much needed reunion. We basically just sketched around town for a couple days and it was the best. On Saturday night, we took in game 7 and celebrated the Blackhawks’ win. Y’all probably could have guessed I’m not the sportiest gal but I got pretty fired up along with everyone else in the Windy City that night! I forget how close/easy of a trip Chicago is for us Madisonians, and I definitely want to spend a few more weekends there this summer. I surprised myself this weekend and didn’t shop too much, which I’m sure came as a relief to my poor bank account. I did, however, pick up this little number on the last day of the Nordstrom sale! I’d loved this BaubleBar gold tassel strand online, so when I saw it in person, I knew it was meant to be. It’s a really fun piece for summer and is a nice deviation from the typical single tassel necklaces we’ve been seeing. It’ll also be a great necklace for layering, if I feel so bold haha. Unfortunately, I can’t find it online (and on sale) at Nordstrom, but it’s still available on the BaubleBar website, so click the picture if you’re interested!
